A major renovation of a condo in an industrial building features StudioBecker millwork in all rooms, including doors and wall paneling.
This office doubles as a guest bedroom...and the colorful artwork doubles as sliding wardrobe doors for the guest closet, created with a custom image under glass. On the opposite wall, tall units with additional storage above also integrate a pull-down bed. The desk section features a floating, sliding door than can be easily closed to conceal the desk when guests arrive to complete the transformation from office to guest bedroom.
The kitchen features white lacquer combined with American walnut veneer in a matte finish and integrated chrome pulls and extensive storage to utilize the small space. The island features a walnut veneered waterfall table that is fully retractable. The table pulls out to create extra seating when needed.
The entertainment center was designed as an extension of the kitchen – in the same American walnut finish with white lacquer floating shelves. The floating shelves feature linear LED up and down lighting that wash the veneer with lighting.
The entrance to the master suite was created as a hidden door in brick artwork to bring an element of the urban feel of this once industrial building. This flows into the master wardrobe (her closet), master bedroom and 'his' closet, as well as a custom-created master bed frame in a black matte lacquer base with bolstered pillows.
